Saw 3D

Last night I went to Saw 7 / Saw 3D with my friend, needless to say, it was awesome. I don't want to spoil the movie for anybody that hasn't seen it yet, but basically it ties up the entiee series completely and even throughs in the bow on top. The end was absolutely harmonic and possibly the second best ending to a movie I've ever seen (The first being, of course, Inception's ending). Basing my opinion on the ending alone, I would say that there may be another Saw next year, but it seemed to end completely. I will spoil one part, so,

Dr. Gordon from Saw 1 is in this one, and plays a bit of a big role in the end.

I was slightly disappointed that the beginning scene involving that glass box in public really had nothing to do with the actual story, but whatever, it was still a great movie.

PEACE!

Tango UI Progress

Alright people, so I've recently been doing some work on this mobile phone UI design I call "Tango". Right now it's just a few simple pictures, but that was created out of nothing, soon I hope to have a working java applet where I can have a simple "OS", even though it's not in any way an OS, just an interface.
You can follow my work on this UI at my deviantART Page.

Startups...

I need some help with a startup. I'm thinking about contacting Jay Allison, the cofounder of Digg. I've had an idea for a while involving a project I created called Ezlo, the only problem is I'm 15 and have $1000 dollars to my name. So basically I'm stuck until I can talk to someone with a background in startup companies, I wonder who that could be... Jay Allison was the first person that came to mind.

I HATE THE HTC SENCE TOUCH INPUT KEYBOARD BTW.
Again, typed on my N1.

Drama in my life

Today was arguably the worst day of my life. If any laws remain in tact, it's definitely that of Murphy. Yes, anything and everything that could have gone wrong, did... Until I got to the mall. I wont bore you with the details, but after I went to grab some lunch, my entire day turned upside down. Around 3 o'clock central my parents and I took a trip to the mall of America to check out the newly released Microsoft Store. Of course, abiding by Murphy's Law, they started fighting. You would not believe how pissed off and uncomfortable I Wasatch the time; but after we got to the mall, everything just seemed to disappear. My parents stopped fighting, we got to the beautiful new Microsoft Store, everything was going well. While I was at the store, I got a chance to try out the new Windows Phone OS on an HTC HD7. And I'm not going to lie: it.was the greatest operating system for a mobile device I have ever seen. The system ran smoothly, everything worked sans the browser due to being near no connection points (T-mobile sucks ass). I loved the phone, I wanted to give the obscurely large black man showing it to me my phone in exchange for this wondrous new device. Alas, I could not. So I still have my Nexus One, running an incredibly outdated version of Sense UI not even.designed for the phone itself, and no way to connect it to the PC. Oh well, I'm nor in contract, so maybe I'll get one some day. I <3 4.3" screens. Also, while I was at the store, I was able to demo the $13,000 Surface computer. After that I headed over to the Apple Store (ironically placed directly across the hall) to check out the new Air. Later we went to a fabulous Italian restaurant where I enjoyed Chicken Parmasian and an amazing dessert called Affagato, which is burned carnal flavored gelato with a shot of mocha espresso on top. Wow! Then came the car ride home, which sucked, followed by the arrival to our home, which sucked, followed by me getting painfully sick and my dad not letting me stay Home tomorrow... In conclusion, the mall = great, everything else = epic suck.

And yeah, my parents sent me to bed early, so I was forced to blog this on my Nexus One. Damn you HTC!!!

I'm excited for the new Windows Phone

Honestly, I've been an Apple guy for years, but this June Apple pissed me off. They released the iPhone 4...

With the release of this seemingly beautiful device came many issues and disappointments, most of these from Steve himself. He seemed egotistical and overly-angry and his own customers. I've been examining him since he returned from treatment, nothing has been the same. I got a chance to have a question answered by Wozniak, the question was irrelevent, but the way he answered it really showed their differences.

While I still admire his ability to see genuinly amazing products, I'm sick of Jobs' attitude and feeling toward his primary audience. What really set me over the edge was his announcement of free bumpers, if you pay attention to his tone, you will understand.

So, on to the main idea of this post Windows Phone 7 was released recently, and I've been noticing some key things that would definitely make this a great platform. Yes, there is no cut and paste feature, but just look at iOS, it took years for that to come. Android, I beleive, has had cut and paste since the beginning, and of course I use Android, I love my Nexus One.

I haven't written in my Journal for a while...

...Is an example of a twitter post.

Seriously though, I have this great leather journal that I love to write in, but I've misplaced my pens and haven't been able to write. I'm thinking about buying a Cross Century Classic pen online and switching over to that permanently.

But right now I'm tired and will sleep.

Good night!
